Our one bedroom, with den--which can be converted to a second bedroom, plus living room, full kitchen, and one bath cottage. Columbia can accommodate up to four persons.
With an open floor plan for the kitchen / living room area, it is a great room for entertaining. From the large covered porch, you will have wonderful views of the grounds, as well as the lake. You need not go to the porch to enjoy the views, the cottage has picture windows and an 8' slider.
Columbia cottage is an ideal summer vacation home for a family, adults, or a couple to enjoy a New England summer vacation.

Policies
Summer vacation involves some hazardous activities that are undertaken at the guests' own risk.
Sunset Ranch promotes safe practices and all guests must comply. The rules promote respect for guests’ privacy, as well as camp and water safety.
No smoking in any building.
No glassware at the waterfront or on the grounds.
Kayaks, Canoe and Rowboats are available for competent swimmers only.
There is no lifeguard on duty. Sensible water safety rules apply. Swim/boat at your own risk.· Boaters must wear flotation devices.·
Respect other cottages privacy.
Quiet Time: 10PM – 8AM
Visitors are permitted upon prior arrangements and registration with the manager.
Guests provide their own sheets,blankets, pillows, and towels.
Park vehicles only in the parking area and boat trailers in their area. It is a short walk to the cottages.
Tie trash in the large black bags provided for double bagging. Place this in the covered receptacles in the trash shed. We do not need critters causing trouble.
Please dispose of paper towels and feminine products in the trash not the toilets as such items can cause septic problems.
Most breeds of dogs are permitted at the manager's discretion. Certain breeds are not allowed such as: German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Pit Bull, Mastiff and Doberman Pinscher.
Please pick up after your pets.
Pets must be under control or on a leash.
Sunset Ranch is not responsible for safety of pets.
We are environmentally friendly and recycle.
Please use the “Recycle Bins” provided.
Our water supply is from a deep well. Please, reasonably limit shower usage for that reason.

Cleaning Policy
- We pride ourselves on providing guests with very clean accommodations, and only want guests who appreciate that.
- We are pet friendly, and in return we ask guests to bring sheets or blankets to cover the furniture if they let their pets on the couches and chairs.
- We expect such cooperation and expect our guests to leave their cottage in the clean condition they received it upon arrival.
- In exchange, we do not charge a cleaning fee. Then upon your departure, our cleaning crew will work carefully to add their many special finishing touches for the next guests.

Getting Here
Directions to your Cottage from the South (NYC, CT, NJ, PA, & Points South)
Take Interstate #91 North. Follow Interstate #91 to Exit 15 in Vermont. This is the Fairlee, VT / Orford, NH exit. At the foot of the ramp turn right, go to stop sign (Route 5) and turn left. Go about ½ mile and turn right over bridge crossing into New Hampshire. At the stop sign, turn right. (Route 10). Go about ½ mile and turn left onto Route 25A. Go about 10 miles and turn left onto Upper Baker Pond Road. Once you turn onto Upper Baker Pond Rd., you are only 0.4 of a mile to the entrance to the parking area for your cottage. Look for the large painted boulder (pictured below) at the parking entrance.
Directions to Your Cottage from the Boston Area
Take Interstate #93 to the second Plymouth NH exit (Exit 26), called Tenney Mountain Highway. It will direct you towards Rumney, NH. You will be on Route 25West. Continue on Route 25West for approximately twenty miles to the junction of 25A. Turn left at the blinking light onto 25A in the small town of Wentworth. Follow 25A for 5 miles. Turn right onto Upper Baker Pond Rd. Once you turn onto Upper Baker Pond Rd, you are only 0.4 of a mile to the entrance of the parking area for your cottage. Look for the large painted boulder (pictured below map) at the parking entrance
